Continuity with the Coded Movie Maker
Machinima by Ataro Asbrink
Dancer: Amelia Alt-Kendrick
Music: CABEIRI - The 5th Element
The CODED MOVIE MAKER is a tool for making Live Movies in Second Life, a virtual world. It's a HUD (Head-up display). By clicking it, a script runs and you can make the movie and watch it immediately inworld when it's done. You can use it also for making a machinima by recording the Live Movie. If you need perfect continuity for your machinima, this is the tool. The machinima movie here is a recorded Live Movie.
You can have the basic version for free on the Second Life Marketplace. ( https://marketplace.secondlife.com/st... )
There is also an advanced version for 300 Linden Dollars (1,20 US Dollar). If you want to make a longer video, you will need this advanced tool. When you have more than - let's say - 15 shots / views, it's not easy to handle the editing with the basic version. Because if you insert a shot near the end of the movie, you have to play the movie always from the beginning. Fast Forward or Rewind is not possible. This advanced version has some navigation possibilities, so you can jump to every part of the movie and edit and watch there. You can also make a separated movie part with some views and insert it later to the main movie.

Smokestack Memories (Sound Versiom)
New old machinima: Smokestack Memories (Sound Version). A former version of Smokestack Memories has been without sound. I think, that was not a good idea, so I added a soundmix made by me with music from Kevin McLeod. The camera in this movie is moved by a script of a programming language.
What you see is an installation (and movie) done by Ataro Asbrink on LEA 2 Performance Sim in Second Life, a virtual world. I showed a Coded Live Movie there, as being recorded to a harddisk and uploaded, it's a machinima. It's something like an hommage to hundred years of coal-mining. It destroyed landscapes, but on the other hand made peoples homes warm.

ETERNAL CREATION – Installation and Coded Live Movie by Ataro Asbrink
I gave this film installation the name "Eternal Creation". Like this installation is permanently creating diverse particles so to say out of nothing, so it is permanently done in virtual worlds like Second Life. Also our so called real world is permanently creating itself new in HERE and NOW. That means, all existing universes are always creating themselves new just here and now. Perhaps this all works only because it's all GEIST, SPIRIT, virtuality.

AMADO MIO
Tribute to Gilda / Rita Hayworth
Made for "Festival der Liebe / Festival of Love" and "Mixed Pixels", a 2013 art event of the German Second Life community. Thats why "Gilda" talks in German. She says: "Ich hasse dich auch Johnny ..... Liebling / "I hate you too Johnny ... darling." In English she sings "Amado Mio / My beloved". It's a very "special" declaration of love and in the 1946 movie it ends with a passionate kiss.

MAGIC SUNDAY
A nearly empty city street on Sunday.
A man is waving. Is he waving for help?
A public street phone rings. Who wants to talk to whom?
A young woman is standing on a wall facing the ocean.
What's going on?
